This is a Hard/Soft Mixed Martial Art Style
There are four physical parts to each level and two spiritual parts
Physical
1. Individual techniques
2. Drills
3. Self Defense
4. Fruit of the Spirit (Kata, Forms, Poomses)
Spiritual
1. Memory Verses (Spiritual Weapons)
2. Bible Studies
Physically the art trains to:
AVOID
If I can’t Avoid
ESCAPE
If I can’t escape, get released and maneuver out of the way
BLOCK
creating pain without injury
STRIKE
create pain without injury
Just enough to get the attacker’s mind off of the attack
TAKE DOWN
tripping, sweeping, body throws and joint manipulations
TAKE CONTROL
control through restraining holds
minister to that person, because the Lord loves them as much as He loves us
Spiritually, the art trains to:
CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS
making them obedient to Christ
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2Cor 10:5
